Boetti's Squares

I have always been interested in contemporary art, and this quilt was inspired by the works of Alighiero Boetti artist of the "Arte Povera" movement born in Italy in the second half of the 1960s. Like Boetti I included a couple of his among the signs that are my way of being a textile artist. It is up to the viewer to find them. I chose to use plain-colored fabrics to give more plasticity and graphics to the whole.
