Beam Team

In Beam Team I begin incorporating more color. I also use cyanotype photograms of pine and hemlock branches, the species of trees from which the wood of this timber frame come. In this quilt I play with contrasts: photograph/photogram, contrasts in image, contrast in photographs, filigree design of very small, pieced photographs and larger actual photographs. This quilt honors teamwork, cooperation and community.
