Awakening the Crone

Silver symbolizes wisdom that comes with age, the crone advising mother and girl. Silver hair earned by nights waiting for teens to come home, teaching them to drive, worrying about them. Silver--precious metal--strong, but also soft and malleable. Silver showing the passage of time but also valuable experiences. Interestingly, as I become the crone, I also am fully engaged in being an artist, fully confident of my abilities, and fully committed to doing this every day for as long as I can.
