African Pediment

Always fascinated by the many ways different cultures call upon nature and the spirit world to bring about good fortune and other desired benefits, I've spent many creative hours reimagining African masks. Inhabiting this triangular, quilted architectural form are two each of appliqu�d and hand-embroidered African-style masks and egrets.
It is fringed with wooden beads.
