671 Million MPH

I ice dyed a piece of fabric, and my son said that it looked like a nebula. My imagination was piqued. I machine quilted it, adding silver thread, embroidery, beading, sequins, and wool felting. I then decided to add stars (lights), using a pocket in the back to hold the small battery pack. Good friends helped me name the piece...the speed of light.
