1952 Buick Chieftan

The streets of Havana are filled with vintage cars and Street Art. Classic cars designed before 1958, the year Havana was closed to the United States, still roam the streets. I took a photograph of this 1952 Buick Chieftain convertible parked in from to Yulier Rodriguez' art. The symmetry between the lines of the art and the car are perfect. Yulier's art is a social commentary about life in Havana as a forgotten country. I have covered the photograph in thread, giving texture to the scene.
