Every quilt communicates, and every technique is fair play. I consider myself a colorist and tend towards narrative. I work with abstraction, but I am not an abstract artist. In my best quilts, it takes time to unpack the meaning. I love and derive inspiration from the fabrics of the world and am ever delighted that SAQA is an international organization. It is a wealth of creative riches.
