Melanie Dossey has been a self-taught fiber artist since 2018 after retirement from a busy midwifery practice . Using mixed media and texture in her art, Melanie constantly searches for new surface design and 3D techniques.
A member of Studio Art Quilt Associates and Dallas Area Fiber Artist, she founded a SAQA Circle with other fiber artists in East Texas. The goal, is to show the world that fiber art is fine art.
