Maureen Lindway

Sewing since my teenage years and quilting since my mid-twenties has allowed me to explore, learn, and experiment with fabric, thread, and other items collected along the way.  Traditional techniques have set the foundation for incorporating thread painting and creating my own designs.  I am inspired by people and their stories, nature, animals, and color (especially red).

Partaking in old and new traditions and techniques fosters my sense of belonging to our textile community and its rich legacy.
