Mary Schwarzenberger

I have been creating for decades and began as a child when my grandmother would give me scraps and teach me words like ‘bias.’ Sewing clothing became a way to express individuality and save bucks. I have been interested in wearable art since the 70s, and my creations have won national competitions. I engage in mixed media, fabric dyeing, and surface design. My next favorite activity, other than creating, is talking about it.
