For many years, I have been an exhibiting artist, both regionally and internationally, mainly specializing in Acrylic/Mixed Media paintings. My artwork focused on abstracts using strong luminous colors. Recently I discovered the beauty and challenge of making art with fabric. When I went to the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY, and saw the SAQA exhibit, I knew I had found my home and my heart- an expression and quality I aspired towards. My soul resonates with SAQA’s vision for the Art Quilt to be universally respected as a fine art medium.
