For as long as I can remember, I have been enchanted with making things, and I continue to work in many different media. I love learning new techniques, and I consider myself an artisan rather than an artist, preferring to make beautiful things that are often useful; I do not confine my art(istic) quilts to the wall, but I also enjoy using (some) of them. I enjoy embellishing, and text often features prominently in my work, often using quotes from literature and occasionally my own words.
