Bio
My quilting journey and my love for textiles started when I was old enough to pick up a needle, thread, scissors, and scraps of fabric. At 6 years old, I was designing and making dolls clothes. I went on to study clothing design and pattern drafting in college. My first quilts were traditional patchwork, where I obsessed and perfected corners and block intersections (still a work in progress). I have designed original blocks and patterns.
Currently, I am focused on storytelling through family memories quilts. These quilts are free-form and emerge organically based on the images and fabrics selected. I use digital images on fabrics, hand embroidery, and hand quilting.
