Nebulae

From the Latin word for clouds, nebulae are swirling masses of interstellar dust and gasses. They glow with luminescent swirls of light and vivid colors. Nebulae occupy the space between stars and contain the elements from which stars and solar systems are born. I was inspired by the incredible visual imagery of nebulae, and also by the fact that most stars are born within these vast expanses of whirling matter. They are considered the nurseries of stars.
