Our shared human history includes a violent and shameful component -- that of deliberate attempts to eradicate specific populations due to differences of culture, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender expression and race. Often motivated by those in power, collective trauma and tragedy are part of our past and present.
The exhibition will have a reception in the library at Raritan Valley Community College on Monday, September 16th at 7PM.
The venue will also host a virtual artist panel on Friday, September 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM Eastern time. The following artists will participate in the panel and discuss their artwork: Alicia Marrett, Maxine Hess, Sandi Goldstein, Jeanne Marklin, and Phyllis Cullen.
